Hot stone therapy is a type of massage that is treated by volcanic rocks such as basalt and basinite that are help to promote relaxation as well as eliminating negative energy within the client’s body, mind and soul.

We provide different qualities stones are used in all part of the body in variety of sizes, shaped and weights according to that. It could be as little as the size of the thumb or could be as big as about 2 to 3 pounds of weight.

For the treatment, stones are put on the chakra points of the body along the spine. The chakra points are the center of the body that circulates energy. It encourage the physical body, when stimulated, it balances energy flow throughout the body.

Hot stone therapy is compared with Swedish massage or deep tissue massage since hot stone practitioner uses the stone instead of their hands to massage. However gentle it may seem so, therapists are able to reach ten times deeper during the massage than through the use of mere fingers making it stronger than a regular Swedish massage.

The stones are heated using water with temperature ranging from 120 – 130 degree Fahrenheit although normal treatment requires alternating the use of hot basalt or basinite stones and much colder stones like marble ones.

It is believed that the mixture of warmth and cool treatment encourages the body to calm down, detox, and heal.
